Snoop Dogg has made an appearance in the sweepstakes casino market. The renowned West Coast hip-hop icon, who has become a part of Americana in recent decades, announced the opening of the Dogg House Casino on Thursday in collaboration with social iGaming technology company Trivelta.

The Dogg House gaming is marketed as a unique, artist-led gaming experience that blends hip-hop culture and music with the excitement of online gambling. The sweepstakes newcomer aims to take a chunk out of the cutting-edge gaming business with an interactive gaming environment and song selection that Snoop Dogg personally created.

"For the first time, players can step into a casino built exactly the way I wanted it,” said Snoop Dogg. “The music, the vibe, the games. I wanted something innovative, immersive, and fun. Trivelta worked with Death Row Games to help me bring that to life.”

Snoop Dogg Radio's original music, beats, and lyrics may be found at The Dogg House Casino. New song releases are scheduled on a regular basis. In addition to accessing individual tracks, players can personalize their background music.

Dog Coins

Although sweepstakes casinos advertise themselves as free-to-play social casinos, gamers can wager for real money by using a supplementary digital currency known as sweeps coins.

The model is used by Snoop's sweepstakes casino. Free Dogg Coins are given to new users, enabling them to play for enjoyment without having to worry about losing money. Additionally, Dogg Cash is available for purchase at the Dogg House Casino. Dogg Cash can be played and exchanged for cash.

“Sweepstakes are a popular promotional tool used by various companies to market their products,” the Dogg House Casino claims. “From airlines to food and beverage giants, many well-known brands leverage sweepstakes to engage consumers. Like these companies, Dogg House Casino uses sweepstakes and the chance to win real rewards to promote its thrilling social gaming platform.”

According to the Dogg House Casino, unlike real-money betting sites, it does not take deposits. To participate in the sweepstakes games, players must buy Dogg Coins.

"Instead, we have a dual-currency system: Dogg Coins for casual play and Dogg Cash for sweepstakes participation,” the website explains.

The Dogg House Casino features live-dealer table games for blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and craps in addition to a plethora of Snoop-branded and themed slots. Players can compete in Snoop Dogg Poker for the opportunity to play Snoop.

A 50% incentive is given to new account registrants on their first Dogg Cash transaction. The sweepstakes casino will give a player $1 in Dogg Cash and 1,000 Dogg Coins every time they log in.

There are no sweepstakes games available at the Dog House Casino in California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, or Tennessee. Sweepstakes casinos are prohibited in those states.

Sweepstakes Opposition

Sweepstakes casinos are opposed by the heavily regulated gaming industry, which is represented by the American Gaming Association (AGA), on the grounds that they lack consumer protections such as instruments for responsible gaming, the assurance of fair odds, and the execution of rewards. Additionally, sweepstakes casinos are exempt from taxes.

“These operators present themselves like legal, regulated platforms, but they operate outside the law and regulation,” said AGA Vice President of Government Relations Tres York. “There are few, if any, responsible gaming tools, no regulatory oversight, and no consumer protections. It’s a dangerous subterfuge that puts players at real risk.”
